Bicol Region sets 8th place in the 2016 Librarian Licensure Examination
The Philippine Librarians Association Inc.through the Bicol Region Librarians Council congratulates the 15 new librarians who passed the recent Librarians Licensure Examination last September 20-21, 2016 held in Legaspi City.
The LLE passers have increased from 12 in 2015 to 15 librarians in 2016. A student from Bicol College, Mr. Raymond Azul got the 8th place in the LLE exam. Congratulations to Mr. Azul and to the proud teacher, Mrs. Ester Listor. He took his review at the Ateneo de Naga Teachers Training Center.

I. About the Search
The Philippine Librarians Association, Inc.-Bicol Region Librarians Council (PLAI-BRLC) is conducting a Search for Oragon Librarian 2016. The search bestows honor upon the Professional Librarian by givingspecial recognition to librarians who manifest profound commitment to the development of Librarianship as profession through exemplary competence, remarkable dedication to their work and effective leadership. It singles out Professional Librarians who have made significant contributions to the development and to uplift the librarianship as a profession. They also employ effective, innovative and creative strategies, materials and devices and exert admirable efforts to bring the library closer to the school and consequently, to the community, thereby providing models of excellence in the field of librarianship.

The Review Classes for the 2016 Librarian Licensure Examination (LLE) will be conducted every Saturdays and Sundays from August 6 to September 11, 2016. Enrollment starts on July 1 to August 5, 2016.

PLAI- Bicol Region Librarians Council (BRLC) is a regional council of the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI) composed of librarians and information professionals in Region V.
Membership is open to all professionals or registered librarians from the Bicol Region, which covers the provinces of Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate and Sorsogon.
