Upon the recommendation of the BRLC Officers the following items were approved:

1.) Creation of the provincial association of Librarians under the banner of BRLC to address the concern of  the provincial chapter. Election of officers shall be conducted in the provincial level. Elected president shall be automatically represent the province to the regional council.

PLAI-BRLC Newly elected officers

After being quiet for almost two years, the librarians in the region were gathered for a General Assembly and Election held at Naga College Foundation Graduate School - Learning Resource Center on June 3, 2011.

The activity was spearheaded by the Nomelec officers with the help of the previous officers who are present and pro-active librarians who are willing to help revived the council. The program starts with the invocation led by Ms. Charmaine Anne Biscocho, followed by the reports of the ...

World Bank Access to Information and Open Data Catalog

Towards greater transparency and information sharing, the World Bank as the vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world has opened to the public the free access of its data and documents through their Access to Information (AI) Policy and Open Data initiative. This provides downloadable access to over 7,000 indicators from World Bank the data sets and pre formatted tables.
